My Profile

While completing your profile is an absolute necessity for other members to find you on the network, we recognize that you may have questions on how to make the most of the information you post and request. This section helps guide you through the process.

  

1. How do I update my User Information?  Open Answer in New Window

You can update your User Information by completing the following steps:

A. Go to http://www.zananetwork.com/.
B. Login to your account.
C.
Click on My Profile (located at the top of the ZANA website).
D. On the left side of the screen, select Membership Information.
E.
The User Registration Information page will be on your screen.
F. Go to the Personal Information section.
G. Now you can update the information you need to change.
H.
Once you have updated your information, click the Update button at the bottom of the screen.


  

2. Why do I need to fill out my Company Profile?  Open Answer in New Window

The Company Profile is a snapshot of your business, providing key information about the products and services you offer. Even if you have a website, the Company Profile within ZANA's network of businesses will make your company stand out, making it easier for other businesses to find you. Within the ZANA network, you can search for businesses based on geographic location, industry, diversity (minority, women, veteran and disabled American owned business) and also by keywords.


  

3. What information about my company can other businesses see within the network?  Open Answer in New Window

Once you complete the Company Profile, you have the option of either showing your company name by checking the box Display Company Name. If you check this box, your company name will be shown to other businesses. If you leave this box unchecked, your company name will not be seen by other businesses.


  

4. How do I list products that I am selling?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Please make sure that you have filled out your Company Profile completely.

Click on My Profile on the top portion of the screen.

Click on Add Product.

Enter in the name of your product.

Enter in keywords describing your product (such as jewelry box, watch, shoes, etc.)

Enter in a product description (include as much detailed information as possible so other businesses can find your products).
G.
You can add a photo of your product in either .gif or .jpg formats. Click the Browse button to find the photo on your computer and select open. The file name will be displayed in the box. The photo cannot be larger than 100KB.
H.
You can add a brochure of your product in PDF format only. Click the Browse button to find your brochure on your computer and select open. The file name will be displayed in the box. The PDF file cannot be larger than 1 MB.
I.
Select a classification for your product by clicking the Add/Remove button and selecting from the list what best describes your product. Then click the Save Selected button.
J.
Next, enter in the price per product in dollars and cents in the Pricing section.
K.
Click Yes or No if you offer volume discounts for this product.
I.
Enter what the Minimum Purchase Amount is in dollars and cents.
M.
In the Fulfillment section, click either Yes or No to state if you have this product available in your inventory.
N.
Click on the packaging that is available for your product: Blister Pack, Loose, Compartment, Other or N/A (not applicable).
O.
From the drop-down list, select the Shipping from Country for your product.
P.
If you have specific Service Policy Details for your product, include this information in the space provided.
Q.
If you have specific Warranty Details for your product, include this information in the space provided.
R.
In the Do not link to company profile box, only check this box if you do not want your product to be linked to your company name. You can offer your product without showing others what company is offering this product. Do not check this box if you want other businesses to know that your company is offering this product.
S.
Click the Update button to save all of the information you have entered or changed for this product.


  

5. How do I add a picture of my product?  Open Answer in New Window

A. You can add a photo of your product in either .gif or .jpg formats.
B. Go into My Profile and click on the Edit button to edit the specific product.
C. Click the browse button to find the photo on your computer and select open.
D. The file name will be displayed in the box. The photo cannot be larger than 100KB.
E. Make sure that you click the Update button when you have finished making your changes.


  

6. How do I add a brochure for my product or service?  Open Answer in New Window

A. You can add a brochure of your product in PDF format only.
B. Go into My Profile and click the Edit button to edit the specific product/service.
C. Click the browse button to find your brochure on your computer and select open.
D. The file name will be displayed in the box. The PDF file cannot be larger than 1 MB.
E. Make sure that you click the Update button when you have finished making your changes.


  

7. How do I list the services that I am selling?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Please make sure that you have filled out your Company Profile completely.
B. Click on My Profile located at the top portion of the screen.
C. Click on Add Service.
D. Enter in the name of your service.
E. Enter in keywords describing your service (such as lawn care, web page creation, tax preparation, etc.)
F. Enter in a service description (include as much detailed information as possible so other businesses can find your services).
G. You can add a photo of your service in either .gif or .jpg formats. Click the Browse button to find the photo on your computer and select open. The file name will be displayed in the box. The photo cannot be larger than 100KB.
H. You can add a brochure of your service in PDF format only. Click the Browse button to find your brochure on your computer and select open. The file name will be displayed in the box. The PDF file cannot be larger than 1 MB.
I. Select a classification for your service by clicking the Add/Remove button and selecting from the list what best describes your service. Then click the Save Selected button.
J. Next, enter in the Pricing Description in the space provided (for example, pricing is per hour or service phase completed).
K. In the Warranty Details section, include any warranty information in the space provided.
L. If applicable, fill in the Minimum Purchase Amount in dollars and cents.
M. In the Do not link to company profile box, only check this box if you do not want your service to be linked to your company name. You can offer your service without showing others what company is offering this service. Do not check this box if you want other businesses to know that your company is offering this service.
N. Click the Update button to save all of the information you have entered or changed for this service.


  

8. How do I request a specific product?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Please make sure that you have filled out your Company Profile completely.
B. Click on My Profile located at the top portion of the screen.
C. Click on Add Product Request.
D. Fill in the Product Request Name (for example, auto repair or landscaping)
E. Fill in keywords that clearly describe the product that is being requested (for example, auto, car, repair, grass cutting, flowers, plants, etc.)
F. Fill in a product description of exactly what you seek. Describe the product in great detail.
G. You can store a picture of the product you are requesting. This picture must be in .gif or .jpg format and must be less than 100KB in size. Click the Browse button to find the picture on your computer. Once found, click the Open button. Then click on Load. Your picture will be stored in ZANA's database and the picture will be tied to this product request.
H. From the drop-down menu, select the Country, State/Province/Region where the product is being requested. Then, key in the Zip/Postal Code.
I. Select a Product Classification by clicking the Add/Remove button. Click on the box that best describes the classification of the product and click the Save Selected button.
J. Select the Expire Request On date. The default is set to one month from the date of request.
K. If you do not want a company profile linked to this product request, check the Do not link to company profile box.
L. Click the Update box to save your product request.


  

9. How do I request a specific service?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Please make sure that you have filled out your Company Profile completely.
B. Click on My Profile located at the top of the screen.
C. Click on Add Service Request.
D. Fill in the Service Request Name (for example, auto repair or landscaping)
E. Fill in keywords that clearly describe the service that is being requested (for example, dry cleaning service)
F. Fill in a service description of exactly what you are looking for. Describe the service in great detail.
G. From the drop-down menu, select the Country, State/Province/Region from where the service is being requested. Then, key in the Zip/Postal Code.
H. Select a Service Classification by clicking the Add/Remove button. Click on the box that best describes the classification of the service and click the Save Selected button.
I. Select the Expire Request On date. The default is set to one month from the date of request.
J. If you do not want a company profile linked to this service request, check the Do not link to company profile box.
K. Click the Update box to save your service request.


  

10. How do I post a partnership request?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Please make sure that you have filled out your Company Profile completely.
B. Click on My Profile located at the top of the screen.
C. Click on Add Partnership Request.
D. Fill in the Partnership Requested (for example, you are a toy manufacturer and you are looking for retailers to purchase your toys to sell in their stores).
E. Fill in keywords that clearly describe the partnership that is being requested (for example, retailers, and distributors).
F. Fill in a partnership description of exactly what you are looking for in a partner.
G. From the drop-down menu, select the Country, State/Province/Region from where the partnership is being requested. Then, key in the Zip/Postal Code.
H. Select a Partnership Classification by clicking the Add/Remove button. Click on the box that best describes the classification of the partnership and click the Save Selected button.
I. Select the Expire Request On date. The default is set to one month from the date of request.
J. If you do not want a company profile linked to this partnership request, check the Do not link to company profile box.
K. Click the Update box to save your partnership request.


  

11. How do I modify a product that I have already listed?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Please make sure that you have filled out your Company Profile completely.
B. Click on My Profile located at the top of the screen.
C. Under My Contents, click the Products tab.
D. The products you are offering will be listed by the Product Name.
E. Click the Edit button to make changes to your product.
F. After you have made all of your changes, click the Update button at the bottom of the screen. Your changes will be saved.


  

12: How do I modify a service that I have already listed?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Please make sure that you have filled out your Company Profile completely.
B. Click on My Profile located at the top of the screen.
C. Under My Contents, click the Services tab.
D. The services you are offering will be listed by the Service Name.
E. Click the Edit button to make changes to your service.
F. After you have made all of your changes, click the Update button at the bottom of the screen. Your changes will be saved.


  

13: How do I remove a product, service or request I have already created and saved in the database?  Open Answer in New Window

A. Click on My Profile on the top portion of the screen.
B. Under My Contents, you have a choice of five tabs, Products, Services, Product Requests, Service Requests and Partnership Requests.
C. Click on one of the above tabs. You will see your products, services or requests listed.
D. Click on the Delete button to delete the product, service or request listed.
E. A message box "Are you sure you want to delete?" will be displayed.
F. Click OK to delete the listed item.
G. The product, service or request will be deleted


  

14. What can I do if I delete my product, service or request by mistake?  Open Answer in New Window

If you delete a product, service or request, it is permanently deleted. If this occurs, you will have to recreate the information.
