Our forums offer excellent opportunities to share common business experiences/practices with other members. If you’re not familiar with the rules of posting messages or how to utilize the Forums features, explore the information below.

Forums at ZANA Network was formed to help members exchange valuable information, business knowledge, and to talk with one another. Topics are divided into several categories: General Discussion, Inspiration, Starting/Managing a Business and Growing a Business.


  

2. Are there specific rules and regulations required to participate?  Open Answer in New Window

We request that all posts be as informative and educational as possible. Try to keep the posts on topic. We encourage you to consider whether the thread you want to include adds any substance to the discussion before posting it.

Avoid responses that only say "thanks," "LOL," "OK," or something similar. Any account names that are derogatory, offensive, or inappropriate will be deleted without notice. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless, inflammatory posts. ZANA Network reserves the right to remove, without notice, any post similar to the ones described above.

Please put topics in their appropriate forum. If you are unsure, email us at help@zananetwork. If you posted something in the wrong forum, email us and we can move it.

Please communicate clearly. Check your posts for spelling errors or typos. We understand that mistakes are inevitable, but if your post is unreadable it is pointless. We also recommend that you avoid writing in shorthand, which is fine for instant messaging, but is not considered professional for a business forum.

Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

Information copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity other than the person posting should not be posted on the message boards without the consent of the owner.

If your content should not be viewed by minors, then it should not be posted to our family-friendly forums. In addition, if something would not be considered by a boss or co-worker as "work safe," then it should not be posted.

No SHOUTING. Remember, using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in posts is considered yelling and rude. It's also difficult to read.

No lengthy signatures; limit them to 10 lines or less. Moderators will edit and/or remove signatures that are too long.

If you are posting in a language other than English, please also post an English translation of your post.

While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.


  

3. How can I reply to a person on the forum?  Open Answer in New Window

 When replying to a query or a response, please type in the text box and click the Submit button to post the message.


  

4. How can I start a new thread?  Open Answer in New Window

For starting a new conversation, please click on New Thread and type in the text box. Click the Submit button to post it on the forum.


  

5. How can I start a new poll?  Open Answer in New Window

For starting a new poll, please click on New Poll and fill in the required information. Type in your name, subject, and message and click the Submit button.


  

6. How can I search for a specific forum?  Open Answer in New Window

Click on Search this forum at the lower left corner of the screen and type in the key words for your search. Click the Go button.


  

7. How can I print a forum?  Open Answer in New Window

 Click on Printer friendly version at the lower left corner of the screen.


  

8. Can I email a link of any thread in the forum?  Open Answer in New Window

Yes, you can, but only to ZANA Network members. On the bottom left corner of the screen, click on E-mail a link to this thread.

Fill in the name and email address of the receiver.

If you click on Toggle email notification at the bottom right side, you can fill in your email address and receive e-mail notifications for updates to this thread.


  

9. How can I view forum messages in different formats?  Open Answer in New Window

Click on a message and view it in three different formats: flat, threaded and nested. The desired format can be chosen from the drop-down list which is located at the upper right corner of the screen.


  

10. How do I perform sorting in a forum?  Open Answer in New Window

Click on a forum then sort the threads in an ascending or descending order at the bottom right corner of the screen. You can also filter the forums by date or month from the drop-down list. After making the selection, click the Go button. From the drop-down list, there is also an option for limiting your search according to the number of days.
