Could you suggest the most economical and effective ways for acquiring new customers, being a new small business owner? Thanks.

Trade shows work good for me. The more shows in my line of work I go to the more my name gets out there. The happier I make customers the more people they will refer to me. I try to be very professional I try to explain every little detail possible that might be of importance to each customer. I prove my trustworthiness. I prove I will do my best to take care of their prized things that they are having me restore.

Depending on what you are selling or servicing there are different ways. We advertise cheaply on ebay selling rechromed original bike and car parts since rechroming people's parts is our business.

We also advertise with free adds online through places like kijiji.com, craigslist.com, and salespider.com.

These are just some ideas to help you out.

Good luck.
